Jamie Whyte is the Research Director of the Institute of Economics Affairs, which he joined earlier this year. He was previously the leader of the ACT Party in New Zealand, the classical liberal parliamentary party. He was also previously Head of Research and Publishing at Oliver Wyman Financial Services. In addition, he has worked as a management consultant for the Boston Consulting Group, as philosophy lecturer at Cambridge University and as a foreign currency trader. Jamie is the author of Crimes Against Logic (2004), A Load of Blair (2005) and Quack Policy (2013), and is a contributor of opinion columns to the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times and The Times.
